Who else does this?

Friday, a few of us were in the Oakley store and I saw a pair of sunglasses. This particular pair looked like they would be good for fishing (they had the right lenses and stuff). I instantly thought, “That would be a good christmas present for dad.”

It only took me a moment to remember, and it was a sad few minutes afterwards.

Does anyone else do this? How long do these little moments happen — where you forget someone has died? I think it may be a little different for me, since I only see my family once or twice a year… but I’m not sure.
