Caution: I’m in a metaphorical mood. I love this tune. But even better, I appreciate it. When I was younger, I only appreciated the pretty parts of a song. Particularly, the high notes. What I didn’t realize at the time was that if you have one extreme without the other, you can’t appreciate it for what it is. Without the low notes, the high notes aren’t as sweet. Life is kinda the same way… without the low points, you can’t really appreciate the high points. This is why people like Rainer and I can appreciate where we’re at, because of where we’ve been. Len, I hope you do the same and remember this when you hit a low point. :) |
